SEABROOK — Former Wisconsin Gov. and presidential candidate Tommy Thompson will be at Brown's Lobster Pound for a meet and greet at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Thompson, a conservative Republican, is seeking local support, said Al Weare, R-Seabrook.
Bruce Brown, owner of the lobster pound, is head of the local GOP and holds a chowder fest for candidates every four years. Thompson, who was governor of Wisconsin from 1987 to 2001, is coming to Brown's before the scheduled chowder night. All are invited to the event on Route 286 in Seabrook.
