Elizabeth Edwards to talk Darfur at UNH

DURHAM — Elizabeth Edwards will join local activists at the University of New Hampshire to call for more international pressure to end the escalating violence in the Darfur region of Sudan.

Edwards will be joined by Tom White, coordinator of Educational Outreach for the Cohen Center for Holocaust Studies at Keene State College, and El-Hadi Adam, a former citizen of Darfur.

The event will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. in Murkland Hall's Richards Auditorium at UNH.

The forum will be followed by the New Hampshire premiere of the film "The Devil Came on Horseback," which first premiered at Sundance Film Festival. The film will be introduced by film subject former Marine Capt. Brian Steidle.
