Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., on Saturday will make her first Seacoast visit since becoming a presidential candidate.
Clinton will hold a public town hall-style event at 10:00 a.m. at Dover High School. Doors will open to the public at 9:30 a.m. The Clinton campaign encourages those wishing to attend the Dover event to RSVP at www.hillaryclinton.com.
This week and the weekend are shaping up as a busy time for visiting presidential hopefuls.
On Friday, Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut Dodd will speak at a “Politics and Eggs” breakfast in Bedford and hold a roundtable discussion on education in Keene.
New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, a Democrat, is visiting New Hampshire on Friday and Saturday, giving a keynote speech to the Concord City Democrats on Saturday. He also will visit Portsmouth as well as Tilton, Holderness, Manchester and Hampton.
On Sunday, Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio is attending a public forum with Save Our Groundwater in Barrington, then attending a health care forum in Concord and another forum at Dartmouth College. He will meet with Belknap County Democrats. Kucinich also plans to be in New Hampshire on Monday.
Also, Republican Sen. John McCain’s wife, Cindy, is visiting the Federation of Republican Women and the Nashua city Republican committee, as well as the Cheshire County Women’s Republican Club in Keene.
